  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain the fat and stir in the spaghetti sauce. Set aside.
  • Cook the Spaghetti: Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, then drain and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  • Creamy Mixture: Add the room-temperature cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic to the spaghetti. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is evenly coated.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread a small amount of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish. Layer the creamy spaghetti mixture on top, followed by the remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake to Perfection: Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables like mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers.
  • Swap out ground beef for ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar for a different twist.
