Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillets, skin removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes. Toss the salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (optional), salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    • Pan-sear: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
    • Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  • Coat the Salmon: Toss the cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce or drizzle the sauce over the top.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs or sesame seeds, and serve immediately over rice, in tacos, or as a standalone dish.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat in a hot skillet or air fryer to restore crispy texture.
