  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Cauliflower:

  • Remove the outer leaves and trim the stem, keeping the core intact.
  • Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch-thick steaks.
  • Depending on the size, you should get 2-3 steaks from the center; save smaller florets for another use.

3. Season the Steaks:

  • Arrange the cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over both sides.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

4. Roast the Cauliflower:

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over each steak.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and lightly golden.

5. Add Mozzarella & Finish Baking:

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the steaks.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted & golden brown.

6. Garnish & Serve:

  • Let the steaks rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve warm as a main dish or side.
