Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season and Cook the Chicken:
    • Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken strips for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
    • Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm.
  • Cook the Noodles:
    • Boil egg noodles according to package instructions.
    • Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare Buttered Noodles:
    • In the same pot used to boil noodles, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Toss noodles in melted butter until evenly coated.
    • Add chicken broth and Parmesan cheese, stirring until creamy.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine and Serve:
    • Add cooked chicken to the noodles and gently toss to combine.
    • Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sauté garlic in butter before adding the noodles.
  • To make it creamier, stir in a splash of heavy cream or cream cheese.
