This Crab Rangoon Dip transforms the flavors of the classic American-Chinese appetizer into a creamy, cheesy, and savory baked dip. Made with crab meat, cream cheese, and seasonings, it’s the perfect party appetizer when served with crispy wonton chips or crackers!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation), drained & flaked
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

2. Make the Dip Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Fold in crab meat, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, powdered sugar, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

3. Bake:

  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot & bubbly.

4. Make Wonton Chips (Optional):

  • Cut wonton wrappers into triangles.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry wonton triangles for 15-20 seconds per side until golden.
  • Drain on paper towels.

5. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Let the dip cool slightly.
  • Serve warm with wonton chips, tortilla chips, or veggies.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick? Add 1-2 tsp sriracha or red pepper flakes.
  • Cheesy Twist? Mix in 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar.
