This Crispy Cauliflower recipe transforms simple cauliflower into a golden-brown, crispy delight in just 30 minutes! Using a two-step cooking method of stovetop searing followed by oven roasting, these cauliflower florets are crispy on the outside and tender inside. Perfect as a side dish or snack!

Ingredients

    • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
    • 23 tbsp avocado oil, divided
    • 1 tsp sea salt
    • 1 tbsp curry powder
    • ½ tsp maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

    Optional Garnishes:

    • Fresh cilantro
    • Toasted almonds
    • Tahini drizzle

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

Prepare the Cauliflower:

  1. Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets for even cooking.

Season the Cauliflower:

  1. Toss the cauliflower with 1 tablespoon of oil, sea salt, curry powder, and maple syrup (if using).

Sear the Cauliflower:

  1. Heat the remaining oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cauliflower and sear for 5 minutes until golden brown.

Roast the Cauliflower:

  1. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  2. Roast for 10-15 minutes, stirring the florets every 5 minutes to ensure even crisping.

Serve:

  1. Garnish with fresh cilantro, toasted almonds, or a drizzle of tahini for added flavor. Serve immediately!
