Ingredients

  • 1 packet of instant ramen noodles (any flavor, discard the seasoning packet)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream (for a creamier broth)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Ramen: Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes. Once cooked, drain the noodles, reserving about 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  • Sauté the Garlic: While the noodles are cooking, melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
