Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  • Sauté Garlic: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  • Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (3-4 minutes). Remove from heat.
  • Prepare Mixture: In a bowl, combine heavy cream, mozzarella, half of the Parmesan cheese, and cooked shrimp. Mix well.
  • Assemble Gratin: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish (9×9 inch works well).
  • Add Topping: Mix panko breadcrumbs with the remaining Parmesan cheese and sprinkle evenly over the shrimp mixture.
