Ingredients

For the Big Mac wraps:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 4 slices American cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

For the Big Mac sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles or pickle relish

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Make the Big Mac sauce:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, white vinegar, chopped pickles, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.

  • Cook the beef:

    • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.

  • Assemble the wraps:

    • Heat the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them more pliable.

    • Lay the tortilla flat and spread a generous amount of the Big Mac sauce down the center.

    • Layer with a portion of cooked beef, a slice of American cheese (let it melt slightly from the heat), shredded lettuce, pickles, and diced onions.

  • Wrap and serve:

    • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom to secure the filling.

    • Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately. Optionally, wrap in parchment paper or foil for a portable meal.

Notes

  • Storage: These wraps are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave or oven for the best results.

  • Variations:

    • Make it healthier: Use a whole wheat or low-carb tortilla and reduce the sauce for a lighter option.
    • Chicken version: Substitute ground beef with grilled or crispy chicken tenders for a chicken Big Mac wrap.

    • Extra veggies: Add tomatoes, avocado, or shredded carrots for added freshness and flavor.
