Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce.
  • Add Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
  • Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
