Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (divided)
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Topping:

  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Baking Dish

  • Pour white wine and 2 tbsp melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Place the dish in the oven for 10 minutes to allow the sauce to reduce.

Step 3: Season the Shrimp

  • In a bowl, combine remaining butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the shrimp in the mixture to coat evenly.

Step 4: Make the Topping

  • In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and melted butter.

Step 5: Bake the Shrimp

  • Remove the baking dish from the oven and arrange the shrimp in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb topping evenly over the shrimp.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until shrimp are opaque and pink.
  • Switch to broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.

Step 6: Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with rice, salad, or crusty bread.
