This Philly Cheesesteak Stromboli combines tender beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and gooey cheese wrapped in a golden, crispy crust. A fusion of Philadelphia’s favorite cheesesteak and a classic stromboli, this dish is perfect for dinner, game nights, or party appetizers.

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or thinly sliced ribeye)
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

For the Dough & Cheese:

  • 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 (8-oz) package shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Sauce:

  • 1 (8-oz) bottle Parmesan-peppercorn dressing, divided

Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic over medium heat.
  • Drain excess fat and stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

2. Roll Out the Dough:

  • Unroll pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  • Press into a large rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

3. Assemble the Stromboli:

  • Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the dough.
  • Evenly spread the beef mixture over the cheese.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and drizzle with ¼ cup Parmesan-peppercorn dressing.

4. Roll and Seal:

  • Roll up the dough from one long side, pinching edges to seal.
  • Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Cut 1-inch slits in the top to allow steam to escape.

5. Bake:

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

6. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Serve warm with remaining Parmesan-peppercorn dressing for dipping.
