Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pineapple juice (reserved from the can)
  • Optional: Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, mix yellow cake mix, crushed pineapple with juice, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  • Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Prepare the Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and reserved pineapple juice until smooth. Adjust consistency if needed.
  • Glaze the Cake: Poke holes in the hot cake with a fork, then pour the glaze evenly over it.
