Southern Fried Peaches are a quick and easy dessert featuring caramelized peaches cooked in butter and sugar for a rich, golden glaze. Ingredients

  • 2 large firm peaches, peeled and halved
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Peaches

  1. Peel and halve the peaches, removing the pits.

Step 2: Caramelize the Peaches

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place peaches cut side down and cook until the edges start to brown.
  3. Flip the peaches and sprinkle with half the sugar and brown sugar.
  4. Turn the peaches once more, adding the remaining sugar, and cook until caramelized.
