Strawberry Mousse is a light, airy, and refreshing dessert made with fresh strawberries and a creamy base. This easy no-bake mousse is naturally egg-free and can be customized to be keto, dairy-free, or vegan. Perfect as a simple treat, cake filling, or layered into elegant parfaits!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 4 oz yogurt (or extra cream cheese/coconut cream)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or sugar-free alternative)
  • 5 medium strawberries, stems removed
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients
    • If using cream cheese, let it soften at room temperature.
    • If using coconut cream, ensure it is thick and creamy.
  • Blend the Strawberries
    • Remove the stems and blend or mash the strawberries until smooth.
  • Mix the Mousse
    • In a food processor, blender, or with a hand mixer, blend together:
      • Strawberry puree
      • Cream cheese (or coconut cream)
      • Yogurt
      • Powdered sugar
      • Vanilla bean paste (if using)
    • Blend until completely smooth and fluffy.
  • Chill & Serve
    • Transfer mousse to serving cups or bowls.
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to thicken.
    • Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberries or whipped cream.

Notes

  • For a fluffier texture, fold in whipped heavy cream or coconut whipped cream.
  • For an extra tangy mousse, use Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt.
  • If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain excess liquid before blending.
