Texas Trash Dip is a warm, cheesy, and creamy Tex-Mex dip that’s perfect for parties, game days, and gatherings. Loaded with refried beans, cream cheese, taco seasoning, and plenty of melted cheese, this irresistible dip is easy to make and always a crowd favorite. Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 4.5 oz can chopped green chiles
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 4 cups shredded Tex-Mex cheese blend (divided)
  • Chopped cilantro, jalapeños, olives, and tomatoes (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Prepare the Dip

  1. In a pan over medium heat, melt the cubed cream cheese until soft.
  2. Stir in sour cream, refried beans, green chiles, taco seasoning, and half of the cheese blend.
  3. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: Assemble & Bake

  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Garnish with cilantro, jalapeños, olives, and tomatoes.
  2. Serve hot with tortilla chips or corn chips.
